Welcome to my corner on the Net. Here you'll find bits and pieces about me, some of my programs/scripts I've written and my general interests and some of my thoughts.

Lets first start with a small introduction. I'm a 29 years old guy originally from Bulgaria but live in Belgium since my 11th and I currently work as a junior sys admin for a small Linux company. I'm very much involved in open source software and its community and am also an openSUSE Linux member and packager. I'm involved in various projects, three of which are my own and one I'm a packager of (ripdvd), and also help out on the official openSUSE forums and IRC. My other interests include Quantum Mechanics (Gauge Theories, Black Hole Holography, CPT violations, entanglement and high-energy physics), Cosmology, Movies (as you might already guessed it) and Philosophy. I'm also active in various IRC channels on Freenode, like most of the openSUSE channels, #suseunbound, #mplayer and #mplayerdev, #x264 and #x264dev, #ffmpeg and #ffmpeg-devel and on the OFTC network in #ck (Con Kolivas' channel) where I go in all of these channels by the nickname "microchip_". I often get asked why I chose "microchip" as my nickname and the simple answer to that is because I collect microprocessors of all kinds for quite some time now, which are advanced microchips (so called VLSI or ULSI, for Very or Ultra Large Scale Integrated circuits), and the word "microchip" sounds more "normal" and general than if I have chosen "cpu", "vlsi" or "ulsi". So, that's pretty much about me so look around and have phun :P
